Walk as if you are kissing the earth with your feet

Foot reflexology

How can reflexology help me?

The goal of reflexology is to bring the body back into balance by the skilled manipulation of reflex points on the feet that correlate to your body's organ systems.  The use of these techniques also promotes relaxation and helps to alleviate stress.

We have a lot, A LOT, of nerve endings in our feet (over 7,000 in each foot).  Stimulating these nerves during a session helps to rejuvenate the nervous system and support healthier function.

Reflexology is beneficial for those experiencing chronic medical issues.  Some of these can include pain, migraines, or anxiety.  It is also a wonderful preventative care technique to support your overall wellbeing and is appropriate for all ages.

Hand Reflexology

Benefits

Reflexology of the hand, much like the foot, is meant to help bring your body into a balanced state.  This therapy can be beneficial for those with pain, especially repetitive use strain.  Gentle manipulation of the hand and arm can help with range of motion and is intensely relaxing.

This is a wonderful service to be used in combination with a foot session or on its own.

How many sessions are recommended?

If you are new to foot reflexology then it is recommended that you have weekly sessions for the first 4-6 weeks; then bi-weekly sessions for 3 months; then monthly sessions.

This schedule would be standard if you are using reflexology as part of your health program.  Otherwise, there is no set recommendation for sessions if they are being used for relaxation purposes only.
