I am excited to embark on the next phase of my career with River's Edge Integrative Medicine. I worked in the hospital setting caring for patients at bedside and in an out-patient setting for 20 years.
My foundation is in Adult Medicine (ages 13+) with specialty training in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Palliative & Hospice Medicine. With so much exposure to 'sick care' I started to transition my training for 'well care' with a goal to meet people on their health path to incorporate holistic therapies as a compliment to conventional medicine.
I have completed intensive training in clinical herbal medicine (MS) through the Maryland University of Integrative Health. This allows me to incorporate custom herbal formulations that can be safely used with prescribed medications from your other healthcare providers. Along with this training was a focus in lifestyle medicine to include goal setting, nutrition counseling, fitness, and mental wellness.
I hold national board certification in foot reflexology from the American Reflexology Certification Board. I trained through the Laura Norman School in New York and plan to pursue hand and face programs through them in the future.
I am an Usui Reiki Master and Teacher with certifications in crystal and color reiki. My passion for reiki stemmed from working with patients in palliative care. InnerSpirit Reiki & Wellness was my previous practice where I was fortunate to offer this wonderful therapy to my community.
Outside of my career pursuits I am a mom of 7 children. I love to run and cross-country ski.
The sky is the limit! My goal is to offer comprehensive, holistic healthcare by blending Western Medicine with Herbal & Lifestyle Medicine to empower you to reach your best health potentials. I am able to provide telehealth services in NH and VT, and am currently seeing patients in-person in VT.
Through individual care, group events, and classes I envision not only personal growth but community growth. If you're going to start somewhere why not here, with me?
I look forward to, and eagerly anticipate, forming community connections that contribute to the richness of the Mad River Valley.
After your initial consult an individualized treatment plan will be tailored to your goals/needs. The type of follow-up and frequency will be dependent on your plan of care. Sick visits and Same day visits will be available on a limited basis.
I will be using Tebra Electronic Health Record which will provide you with a patient portal and access to your chart. This system will be used to complete all intake paperwork and is HIPPA compliant.
If you cannot make it to my physical location but are a resident of NH or VT you can still be seen via the Telemedicine platform.
